Kingsland Lake side wedding | Jake & Cam

March 28, 2018

All you need to know is this. lakeside. 25 people. simple. romantic. tear jerking.

This was wedding #2 of our Texas tour and it was so chill and perfect. Jake and Cam didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony so thankfully every photo was done at golden hour. praise be. I’ve decided that all weddings that end in a bon fire are pretty much my favorite.

You may recognize a few people on here and that’s because the groom is my nephew and brother to Nick. Even though there was a bit of wind the sun was out the drinks were cold and the chocolate fountain…. was also cold! It started out flowing and molten and right after sunset it had hardened again! I loved all of Cam’s details and bright color choices. She had one of Jake’s name badges sewn into her dress, her necklace was a “J” for Jake, and all her sunflowers were bright and happy.

This day fueled my growing love affair with small intimate weddings. The no fuss and relaxed nature to them allow everyone to have fun and be spontaneous (like a bon fire.)
