Chris & Nicole | Roswell Founders Hall Wedding

It seems like every year I have at least one wedding where it just rains pretty much all day. This was that wedding but thankfully rainy weddings don’t scare me in the least especially when the venue provides the perfect front porch. Porches are an amazing way to take advantage of the lovely diffused light while keeping everyone dry. Roswell Founders Hall has the perfect porch!!

I am so glad that Chris and Nicole had such positive attitudes about their wedding day. Initially they weren’t going to do a first look but Nicole made the decision to do it based on how early it was getting dark (hello, daylight savings.) Afterward I was so happy hearing Nicole tell me that inevitably she was glad to experience all the emotions, tears, and excitement in private.

Chris wore his dress blues which were super suave and even got his saber engraved with the wedding date. I loved how they had fun with their cake cutting and chose to forgo the normal utensils. If everyone could use a sword to cut their wedding cake from now on that’d be excellent with me!

Everyone in this bridal party were amazing helpers in making sure Chris & Nicole’s wedding went smoothly. They were also such sports going out onto a porch during the rain and cold and taking photos.

You may also notice the very special grooms cake. Chris is a UGA fan and Nicole is a Florida fan (I still accept her but Go Dawgs!) and they choose to have their wedding on the GA/FL gameday. Thankfully the score of the real game looked much different than the one on their cake and the red/black loving guests at their wedding didn’t spend the evening in a depressed stupor.
