Hilo, Big Island of Hawaii Couples Shoot

Can we talk about dream come true?! I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to spend an early morning with in Hilo, Hawaii. We met at Richardson Beach Park where Karlie grew up playing and having cookouts. Abner and Karlie are just so stinking cute together and were literally up for anything. I think it helps that Karlie works with a photographer often so she could tell when my thoughts started drifting to climbing the lava rocks and offered to climb up there– barefoot! I was blown away.

I am so smitten by the black lava rocks juxtaposed the steel blue ocean, and the lush green vegetation. It’s like the perfect storm of all my favorite things! This Theia Couture dress looked like a mermaid when it flowed and fanned over the sand and rocks. It looked as if Karlie had literally come straight out of the ocean. Again, dream shoot.

We also need to address these flowers by Grace Flowers Hawaii because they stole my breath when I picked them up. Most vendors in Atlanta don’t use flowers like these and I adore how bright and colorful they are. They popped so much against the black lava rocks.
