So this engagement shoot at Lullwater Creek Park was fantastic. I always love getting to shoot at this wonderful gem tucked away in the woods with the waterfall, walk trails, old mill ruins, and suspension bridge. I knew I was in for a treat the moment Erin stepped out of their truck in this adorable skirt and crop tank combo. She wears it so well. As usual the Atlanta heat and humidity greeted us which made my direction of “Jimmy pull your beautiful bride to be in real close” not quite as appealing as normal since we were all glistening quite a bit!
Also, I love how these two claimed to be awkward… and not 5 minutes into the shoot they were these professional debonair models. I always tell my couples that the first 5-10 minutes of engagement shoots are awkward. It’s normal for most people to feel weird being in front of the camera (especially a non phone camera) because it is not an everyday activity. The good news is that the jitters go away and you get lots of cuddle time with you bae.
I can’t wait for their wedding next year!
What a fun photo session. Great photos. Great energy.
