Everything about this wedding day was perfect! The weather cooperated, there were clouds, it was cooler, no one forgot anything, everything ran on time. It was delightful. I loved getting a chance to go back to Frogtown for a wedding. It’s such a beautiful and cool venue even to just go wine tasting!
Jake and Patricia are next-level awesome. They are so good at being in the moment with their friends and family while also balancing their responsibilities. One of my favorite things about wedding days is watching how the couple interacts with their wedding party. I enjoy seeing the dynamic and it typically solidifies the quality of their character. Both of them love their people fiercely and have an absolute blast together (you can tell this by the dancing photos!)
All of their amazing details came together beautifully. Patricia’s dress was spectacular. She had a letter from her great grandmother and handkerchief pinned to her dress. Jake had custom Patriots cuff links and an amazing navy feather bow tie. He also was surprised by a Patriots grooms cake. I loved how all the groomsmen got flasks and cufflinks of their favorite teams. It was my first time having a live painter at a wedding and I adored seeing the progress throughout the day! It turned out amazing! The string trio played beautifully for their ceremony. There is something so romantic about having live musicians at your ceremony. The bride’s brother danced with Patricia while they were surprised with a slideshow of their late father. It was an incredibly tender moment with 0 dry eyes. They had a killer getaway car and a fun bubble exit!
Congrats Jake & Patricia!
