Mac & Sydney | Fernbank Wedding | Decatur, GA

My favorite part about this wedding was how both Mac & Sydney cherished each moment. They were so present and aware of everyone they were with and loved on them as much as possible. I also loved how they choose the small and intimate Kellet Chapel at Peachtree Presbyterian Church. It was so nice to have their friends and family fill the space and everyone felt so close to them. Getting to hang out, make movie quote references, and nerd out with everyone all day was a blast! I loved how Mac & Sydney made quite the entrance into their reception. They made their way down the grand staircase in Fernbank and danced to “You’ve got a friend in me.” It was amazing to watch pretty much all of their guests swing dance the whole night! Everyone was whipping around the dance floor in a tangle of arms and dips! It was delightful.

No one loves a good theme as I do and seeing their getaway vehicle be the jeep from Jurassic Park after they just danced the night away surrounded by dinosaur bones in the amazing Fernbank museum gave me chill bumps! Did I mention they played the Jurassic theme song while everyone left for the sparkler send-off? yes please!
