After meeting through mutual friends over dinner Scott and Lauren fell in love. It’s hard not to fall in love with these two as a couple and individually. Lauren is a bundle of energy and kindness while Scott is calm and steady. They compliment each other so well and bring out the best in one another.
After dating a while Scott told Lauren one day after work that they needed to go on a vacation immediately which didn’t seem too unusual. After booking a last minute beach trip they grabbed an early dinner and went for a walk on the beach. After walking… and walking…. and walking Scott finally found the perfect spot that was just remote enough and told Lauren how much he loved her and wanted nothing more than to spend the rest of his life with her and got down on one knee with a gorgeous ring in hand. Scott says that Lauren said ‘yes’ before Scott’s knee hit the ground!
Their wedding set at the gorgeous Frogtown Cellar Winery in Dahlonega was perfect. The rain held off, the breeze was constant and the excitement was overflowing. Each bridesmaid wore a different sparkly (my favorite kind) dress that all looked so good together. None were more perfect than Lauren’s dress with and amazing flowing train that caught in the wind as she walked.
The amount of detail that Lauren and her mama put into every aspect of the wedding was amazing. Her mama, Mary Jane, is a successful embroidery artist and spent months monogramming almost every aspect of the wedding! If you could do it, it was monogrammed.
Congrats to Scott & Lauren! May you have a long and happy life together!
