David & Olivia | Star Wars Wedding at Whitlock Inn

My favorite part of photographing weddings is seeing how each couple incorporates their personalities and interests into their big day. Most of the time it’s the color scheme or wedding theme. David and Olivia kicked it up a notch and had star wars hints, purple, and hand crafted masterpieces throughout their big day. From their seating chart, battle ready light sabers, all the way to the lego light saber in David’s hand made boutonniere. Olivia and her mom literally made all the flower bouquets and they left no detail missed. It was seriously impressive!

By far my favorite part was the first look. Usually couples take maybe 5 minutes during their first look to say hi, check each other out, kiss… a lot. Olivia and David spent nearly 15 minutes. It was such a joy to watch all the stress and jitters of the day simply melt away the moment David turned around and saw his stunning bride.

Fun Fact: This is not my first wedding with light sabers 🙂
