From the moment I met Mac & Jenny I knew they were fun and adventurous. Since they are getting married at Ivy Hall in Roswell later this year they wanted to get some photos around the waterfall and Roswell mill bridge area. This was my first time shooting at Roswell Mill and I couldn’t have had a prettier day or models!
We wandered, talked, and stopped for photos all around the walking trails of the mill on a gorgeous partially sunny day. We go to explore on and under the bridge as well as throughout the hiking trail to the waterfall.
Mac actually manages the amazing and quaint restaurant Vin25 in Roswell so naturally we ended out session at the place where they spend a lot of time! This restaurant is so cool. It has a wine room, outdoor patio with twinkle lights (my favorite), and sweet fire pits to sit around a sip your vino. If you find yourself in Roswell you need to visit!
One of my favorite things about engagement shoots is just the opportunity it gives us to talk and learn about one another. I learn about their life, pets, bad knees, job struggles, and everything in between. I learn of what values they hold, interests, and dislikes. This is why engagement sessions are so important. It builds trust and familiarity so that when I walk in on the wedding day I am greeting a friend, not a stranger.
