I loved having the opportunity to photograph this wedding at the Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art with the wonderful Ann Parks Photography. My favorite part about having a first look is seeing the couples reactions to one another. This is the day they have spent months planning for and it is finally here and their forever is just beginning. For some couples it means it was years in the making, for other just a few months. It is always during the first look that the reality of getting to marry your best friend, your love, your boo thang really hits home. There is nothing quite like seeing your bride in the most gorgeous white gown or your groom all clean shaven and dapper in an exquisite suit.
I enjoyed getting to watch this couple enjoy their wedding day. So many times newlyweds get caught up with organizing the day and making sure everything is in place that they forget that they are a guest at this shindig too! I always advise hiring a wedding planner/coordinator. I like to think of them as ring leaders in a white tulle filled circus. They are there to take the stress of making sure the flower girl walks in at the right time or Aunt Petunia finds her table at the reception. Leading up to and on the wedding day I always remind my couples to enjoy their day. It goes by in an instant!
PS: this couple right here choreographed their first dance. It was beautiful and awesome. I recommend it!
