FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions
How many weddings will you shoot on my wedding day?

Only 1 and that is your wedding. In order to give my clients the best experience possible I only photograph 1 wedding in a day.

Do you bring your own lighting?

Yes! I am prepared for every situation that may arise throughout a wedding day.

Do you have a set shot list? Can I request certain images to be shot?

My shot list is everything and anything. I always make sure to document the day as it happens. I get the details down to the six pence in your shoe. You can always request certain shots to be taken. I want my clients to have the photos they want, these are your photos! I also will communicate when a certain photo you’ve requested isn’t really possibly. For example, it could be raining incredibly hard the day of your wedding. (knock on wood!)

Do you have a second shooter?

YES! Having a second shooter at your wedding is incredibly important for numerous reasons. One being it gives your more photos and angles. A second shooter enables that no gap in wedding day coverage happens.

Do you have a limit to the amount of images you will edit?

Nope. I edit all the images where someone isn’t blinking, sneezing, or making some other crazy face!

How long does it take to get my wedding photos back?

Typically you will receive your wedding photos within 3 weeks.

What is the difference between printing rights and copyright?

Printing rights means you can print photos for personal use. It does not include anything for commercial purposes: submitted image into contest, wedding blog, or other use in a commercial capacity. Copyright means that the photographer retains to rights as the owner and creator of the image.

Will you use my images for advertising?

Most likely! I always do a blog post from my sessions and weddings and post images on Instagram regularly!

What will you wear to my wedding?

I usually wear black dress pants, cute black shirt, and very comfortable shoes!

What is your plan if you are ill or there is an emergency and you can’t shoot my wedding?

I have a network of other photographers that I can call upon in the event of an emergency. Don’t worry, your wedding will be photographed!

When is the balance due?

Total balance due is 30 days before the wedding. We do offer payment plans to help spread out the total cost.

Why should I hire a professional photographer and pay oodles of money?

For most professional photographers (myself included) this is their full time job. Most of the money goes towards providing the best quality experience that I can for my clients. That includes making sure I have the best & working equipment, continually educating myself, as well as costs of running a business. You’re paying a professional for more than “just the wedding day”. There are numerous hours behind the scenes of editing, marketing, blogging, ordering albums, and emails.

Do you have insurance?

Absolutely! I have business and equipment insurance.

Do you have backup equipment?

Most Certainly! Being prepared is incredibly important to me! I am prepared for the worst case scenario and hoping for the best!
